A website should do more than look finished
Presentation is not the same as a website that brings work in. The difference is usually the path, not the colour palette.
Most businesses already have a website. It has a logo, a few photographs, and a contact page in the menu. Visitors arrive, look around, and leave, because the page never asked them to take a specific action.
A converting website is more precise. The first screen states what you do and who it is for. The next section supports that with a result or a client. The button repeats the offer the headline just made — request a quote, book an appointment, place an order — rather than a general “learn more.”
Speed belongs in the same brief. A slow first load on a phone is a closed door, particularly for trade businesses whose customers are between jobs. Design that ignores mobile is design for a desk the customer is not using.
Redesigns fail when they only change the colours. If the previous site did not convert, the new one will not either, unless the structure changes: fewer competing links, a shorter form, and proof placed next to the request.
That is the work Elevè undertakes. Custom where the brand requires it, direct where the visitor needs a decision, and launched with the Google listing telling the same story as the homepage.
